After being told about a website that had reasonable prices and a super selection of accessories for both wedding ceremonies and receptions, I decided to take a look for myself. She spoke the truth, everything from wedding invitations to exquisite little thank you gifts for the guests that could save us quite a bit. They even carry super groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. Of course, my wedding décor and the supplies I would need, I intended to buy there.
December was the month we planned on for our wedding date and I was determined to have a winter wonderland wedding, and with all the accessories they have to offer, I knew I’d have everything I needed to make it work. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. I lucked out when looking for my flower basket and ring pillow because I found a five piece wedding set that had both, plus a guestbook and pen set, and a nice leg garter to go along with it. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did for the matching five piece set. I know, after reading a few wedding articles, that many churches won’t allow the tossing of petals for the bride and grooms departure and many couples have chosen bubbles to be blown as they exit the ceremony. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You’d be surprised at the marvelous accessories I bought from there. I bought all the gifts for the entire wedding party from there, including gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy. With all the groomsman gifts that my fiance had to choose from, it was hard for him to make up his mind.
A mug was the choice for the groomsman favors that he choice and each mug said groomsman on it. We could cross off the list of things to buy as far as a groomsmen gift idea, my bridesmaids and the rest of the wedding party, so I could now choose thank you gifts for the guests. I had quite a selection of winter themed gifts to pick from for our guests at the reception. The wedding favors I chose were glass winter votive candles with a wintery frosted look for everyone attending the reception. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. Every candle was packaged in a decorative favor box with a silver hang tag on them.
The little snow ball ornament place card holders I bought make great little thank you gifts too. There was so much for a beautiful winter wonderland themed wedding, like our cake server set, our champagne flutes and even our funny wedding cake topper. Since the cake topper I chose was one with the bride and groom on skis, I decided to make it look authentic by having the baker design the top layer of our cake as a mountain of snow. I had many pictures of our wedding cake taken for my winter themed wedding picture album, it was so adorable. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. This was like a dream come true, dancing around the room with my new husband as everyone watched.
Everyone was having a fantastic time and this reception was perfection from beginning to end. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
