Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. You would be surprised how many people have weddings in the winter and have it outside. I thought to myself having a winter wedding outside would be gorgeous in one sense, and a little weird in the other, not to mention how cold it would be. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. To me you should plan a wedding in the winter at a resort that has all the amenities to help everybody stay warm.
There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. You can choose from a terrific new wedding selection – they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.
My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They looked stylished and fashionable. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. She bought cute little cowboy hats to use as place card holders and added wildflowers in little watering cans as the centerpieces. To my surprise they planned to rent a western ranch for the wedding. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new party favors for her guests.
Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
