Once we decided on a beach wedding, I started looking for all my accessories and supplies they had in a beach motif. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. So, even though I loved the gowns, I chose a lightweight knee length beaded satin dress with a gorgeous lace covering and spaghetti straps.
Linen beach dresses with a crocheted halter covering was what I chose for my bridesmaids. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.
I wish now, with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two leather wedding albums, instead of only one. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Everyone thought our reception tables were so beautiful with all the beach themed wedding accessories I had found for them. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. I think our friends and family thought they were cute, I know I did. They also had beach wedding favors that I just had to have for our guests. The little tea lights I chose were in the shape of miniature sand castles and to help them keep the memory of our wonderful beach reception. I found everything we needed, as far as accessories and decorations, for our wedding table and our guests reception tables. Not only did I find the perfect wedding cake topper, but I also bought their beach themed crystal flutes, wine glasses, cake serving set and so much more.
Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. Putting together everything for our wedding and reception was not as hard as I thought it would be, thanks to all the help I had in finding the perfect beach wedding accessories and reception supplies online. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.
Now I sit here and relive that wonderful day by enjoying all the photos I have in our beautiful beach leather wedding photo album.
